Townhall Repairs

Brad Kelly reported that most of the interior repairs of the townhall have been completed, including the painting of interior walls.  Remaining work includes the removal of the old carpeting and installation of linoleum or laminate flooring.  Township officers are visiting nearby hardware stores to locate appropriate flooring materials.

Spring Road Tour

The township board will tour all roads within 30 days -- selecting a date after snow melt has occurred.

Officer Compensation

The township board approved the continuation of the same compensation for township officers that has been paid over the past two years:  $100 per meeting or work activity for supervisors, $125 per month for the treasurer, and $300 per month for the clerk.

Township Equipment and Snowplowing Rates

The township board approved the following rates for the use of township equipment for neighboring township road projects:  $90 per hour for the plow truck, and $100 per hour for the road grader.  Additionally, the township board approved the following rates for plowing snow for township resident driveways during the winter of 2014-2015:  $50 for short driveways and $75 for longer driveways, as determined by the plow truck driver.

Township Website

David Williams will continue to update and maintain the township website, without compensation, for a few months.  The township board will review this arrangement after 90 days.
